Stuart Appleby's F-bomb got on the air during the Masters Sunday, but let's not forget Vijay Singh at a previous Masters, in a clip you won't want to play if your boss is around:
That was even worse than Appleby. Golfers often act as if their sport has more class and dignity than other pro sports. If they want others to believe that, they might want to cut out the George Carlin routine on national television.

As a caddy, I carried bags for guys that wore shirts and ties, and never made a noise after a bad shot. Some were pretty good golfers. Chick Evans for one. My first carry was for Mrs. Evans in 1939 at Big Run, close to Lockport Illinois. Can you say gentleman? Can you say trash? Evans v Woods and others who foul the air ways. Bar them until they make apology, suffer the cash loss if any, and don't let them play on the PGA tour unless they mend their trashy ways. I followed Arnie at an exhibition once when some clown in the gallary was listening to a University of Alabama football game and Arnie's response was a dirty look.

I am a spiritual person, but I am more offended by the Master's arrogance in not allowing women to join the Augusta Country Club than a human emotional response to disappointment. Maybe the Master's cup is clean on the outside but not so pure on the inside!

Golf is the last bastion of ,pro athletes who compete with all their hearts on the course and act as gentlmen after the game has ended. Their behavior on the course should reflect this attitude. I am disgusted by all other pro sports and seldom whatchany onTv. Including th Super Bowl.

What do you expect when you have mikes fastened to their belts. When did that happen in other pro sports? I will take a frustrated verbal miss "Q" from Pro golf anyday over the anticatics of the spoiled rich brats of the other pro sports. In golf and tennis you have to really earn your pay check.
